Italy is the birthplace of fashion and the history of couture is still rooted in the heart of Rome. Here students acquire a real taste of high fashion elegance and inspiration for future projects.
The prestigious academy of design KOEFIA in partnership with JDIDS provides the best educational offer in the field of Haute Couture.
The aim of the one-month intensive course at KOEFIA is to train students to achieve knowledge of Haute Couture, emphasizing creativity, couture tailoring and moulage techniques.
The course covers different aspects like study of conceptual forms and tools applied to Haute couture.
Students will get an opportunity to develop a range of moulage patterns, toiles and a structured garment. Final works will be showcased in the presence of the Italian fashion industry, including the fashion press and the designers.
During this month the students will also get the opportunity to visit the most influential places in fashion.
This experience is designed to give students a truly international insight and a new approach to diverse cultural history.
